It’s like, someone actually *did* a haul featuring them, which suggests a positive association with being black-owned. You gotta think if it weren’t, someone would’ve called them out on it.
However, the other blurb is all about “Early Black Friday Shopping” and how they’re cutting out markups and dropping new scents monthly. Which is cool and all, don’t get me wrong, I’m all about affordable fragrances that don’t smell like your grandma’s attic. But it doesn’t exactly scream “black-owned” from the rooftops, ya know? It’s more focused on the business model, which, good for them!
Then there’s this other bit comparing Oakcha to Dossier and ALT, and the whole thing is about “affordable luxury” and “distinct philosophies.” Again, important, but still kinda vague when you’re trying to figure out the ownership situation.
