I know, I know, you’re probably thinking, “B&BW? Seriously? That’s like, where I got my glittery body spray in middle school!” But hold up, they’ve kinda stepped up their game. Apparently, they dropped this “Everyday Luxuries” collection with fine fragrance mists that are supposed to be inspired by, like, *fancy* perfumes. And people are buzzing about it.
Now, I haven’t, personally, smelled all of them (yet!), but I’ve seen a lot of chatter about “In the Stars” being a pretty good Baccarat Rouge 540 dupe. It’s described as having that warm, ambery base with sandalwood, but also being lighter and fruitier. Honestly, that sounds kinda appealing to me, cuz sometimes BR540 can be a bit…much. You know? Like, suffocating-your-grandmother-at-Sunday-brunch much.
And hey, even if “In the Stars” isn’t a perfect match, who cares? It’s probably, what, like, 20 bucks? Compared to the *hundreds* you’d drop on the real deal? I’d call that a win, even if it’s just a “close enough” situation. Plus, B&BW often has sales, so you could probably snag it for even less. Score!
I also saw mention of Bath & Body Works launching designer-inspired fragrances in general. This makes me wonder if there are more baccarat rouge 540 dupes hiding in the collection? I think it’s worth a shot to go to the store and give them a sniff, cuz you might find your new signature scent without going completely broke.
